I often take the opportunity to look at fabric when visiting a new place. The stores in big cities usually offer a wider range of fabric both quality and price. It is fun to find this special fabric and make something out of it.

I will try to add the ones I find in my quest for stores. Some of them are online and some are not. I will not have had the opportunity to visit all of them but I add what I find. Gittes tygkälla - Huge selection of fabric with great prices. The fabric is sorted by colors. You need a lot of time when visiting Gittes. Good service.

Förslöv

Syknuten - Nice fabric for both home and fashion, even though you didn't plan to buy anything - you always do. Great service - friendly and very helpful.

Skipper Stoffer - Fantastic fabric, good quality and a big collection of sweater knit fabric. Great service - very kind and helpful. They can send fabric by mail.

Stof 2000 - Good fabric for a good price. Actually found a wonderful Missoni fabric here. The stores are all over Denmark.

IW Hvidberg - A huge range of fabric. You can find high quality suit fabric here. The price is higher but of course the quality is great. They have a lot of other fabric aswell. Well worth a visit. The prices are without VAT and I believe their usual customers are professionals.
